Novatek gets Bukharinsky block in Siberia for 2.346 bln rbl
MOSCOW, Dec 27 (PRIME) -- Russian independent gas producer Novatek’s unit Arctic LNG-1 has won an auction for a 27-year license to develop the Bukharinsky block in the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous District with a 2.346 billion ruble bid, Novatek said in a statement on Friday.
The block located on the territory of the Gydan Peninsula and partially in the water areas of the gulf of Ob and Taz. It has a resource potential of 1.19 trillion cubic meters of gas and 74 million tonnes of liquid hydrocarbons, or a total of 8.4 billion barrels of oil equivalent.
